Between death and new birth

Without colonization and war in the thirteen century, there would not be a beautiful castle ruin to explore.

When we face death of a dear one, we remember the pain and forgot that we grew stronger and wiser because we faced the death and pain.

When an animal is slaughtered for food, we remembered the cruelty and forgot that there is a willing soul that incarnated to be the animal to feed many. We forgot that life is eternal, that death does not exist.

When we face failure, we remember the insufficiency and mistake, we forgot that we always learn from the lesson and next time we would do better.  Without failure and mistakes, we will not succeed.

Destruction of a city, whether it be war or fire, we only see the city rebuilt after half a century. We forgot that without the destruction, the new life was impossible.

Now if we remember this all the time, next time when we face a difficulty, we would smile and brave forward with joyous stride; because we know, out of the ash come alive the stunning phoenix.
